Events & recurring missions

Global events, daily and weekly missions

Three recurring content systems layer on top of standard incidents: global events (multi-site, community contribution), daily missions (per-day objectives) and the weekly mission.

Global event themes

Ten rotating themes, each with its own site types and required tag mix.

Contribution & difficulty

Each event site has a difficulty (small / medium / large) that drives the tag range, unit-hours required and rewards.

DifficultyTagsUnit-h ×CreditsXPTokens
small2–30.5×3,0001505
medium3–51.0×8,00040015
large4–62.0×20,000100040

If the base unit-hours per tag = 50 for a site, then the sum of vehicles carrying that tag must remain on scene for 50 hours (e.g. 50 vehicles for 1 hour each). Beware: events are especially complex because situations can worsen. Every passing minute, an unresolved situation can escalate and require more unit-hours to solve. If not brought under control in time, the situation may become nearly impossible to resolve.

Geographical distribution

Global event sites are drawn from ~90 real-world coordinates (major cities across the 5 continents) then weighted by active-player count in each region. If no players are active in South America, no sites appear there. Conversely, if many players are active in Greenland, many sites could spawn there.

Daily & weekly missions

  • Daily: multiple per-day objectives (e.g. deploy_vehicle X times of type Y, resolve N missions of a service). Each dispatched vehicle is tracked via trackProgress.
  • Weekly: a longer mission with a significant reward. Once completed, all credit & XP gains for the rest of the week get +25%.
  • The dailyBonus stack (+5 / +10 / +25%) activates from the first daily mission completed that day.
