Immersive 3D view
Dive down to street level in your city
Rescue OPS features an immersive 3D view that displays your city in full screen, almost at street level, with buildings extruded in relief. Your stations, vehicles and active incidents remain visible and clickable, just like on the main map.
How to enable it
- Open your in-game profile (profile / avatar icon).
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Scroll down to the Display section.
- Find the Immersive 3D view option and press Open.
- The immersive view opens in full screen, centered on the current map position.
- To close it, press the button again — it now shows Exit.
Moving around the view
- Drag with one finger (or left click + drag) to pan across the map.
- Use the mouse wheel or pinch with two fingers to zoom in and out.
- Rotate two fingers, or hold right click and move the mouse, to rotate and tilt the camera.
- Double click (or double tap) to zoom quickly to a specific point.
What you see
- The city buildings in extruded 3D, on a dark map background.
- All of your fire stations, hospitals, police stations and specialized bases, with the same icons as on the main map.
- Pending and in-progress incidents, with their icon and their analysis or resolution timer.
- Your vehicles on the move, positioned in real time along their route.
- Clicking a building, incident or vehicle opens its usual panel, just like on the 2D map.
Not to be confused with 3D buildings
Just above in the settings is the 3D buildings option. It is different: it does not switch to full screen, it simply adds extruded 3D buildings on top of the classic 2D map. You can use both independently, based on your preference.
Tips
- The immersive view keeps the current position and zoom of the main map: first center the map on the area you want to explore, then open the immersive view.
- It is perfect for following a large incident, watching a grouped dispatch of vehicles or taking a screenshot of your city.
- You keep receiving missions and playing normally: this is a display mode only.
- If 3D slows down your device, exit the immersive view — the 2D map is much lighter.
